Spice Girl Emma Bunton has given birth to a baby boy called Beau.

The baby was born at London's private Portland Hospital at 1112 BST, weighing 7lb 15oz.
The child is the first for Bunton, 31, and partner Jade Jones, who said they were both "absolutely delighted and can't wait to take Beau home".
"He is absolutely brilliant and both baby and Emma are doing fine. In fact Emma is tucking into some flapjacks and Coca Cola as we speak," he added.

"Emma is upstairs doing really well, just recovering and bonding with the baby. Both are having a little nap right now," he told reporters outside the hospital.
"I'm just pleased to have our little baby boy with us. I'm over the moon. He looks a bit like both of us actually, so he's a very lucky boy."

Bunton and Jones, a former member of defunct boy band Damage, have been together for eight years.
She will join her fellow bandmates on the Spice Girls world reunion tour, which kicks off in the US in December.
The full line-up has not performed on stage since Ginger Spice Geri Halliwell left the band in May 1998.
At the height of their fame, the Spice Girls sold 55 million albums and had nine UK number one singles.
Media hype
The tour will cover six continents, but includes just one date in the UK, in London on 15 December.
The band members have not been far from the headlines in recent months.
Film star Eddie Murphy recently acknowledged he was the father of Mel B's four-month-old daughter after she took legal action to confirm paternity.
And the singer revealed earlier this week that she had secretly married film producer boyfriend Stephen Belafonte in June in Las Vegas.
Posh Spice Victoria Beckham made a much publicised move to Los Angeles last month, where her husband David now plays football for LA Galaxy.

Vegas marriage for singer Mel B

Spice Girl Melanie Brown married film producer boyfriend Stephen Belafonte in Las Vegas on 6 June, her spokeswoman has confirmed.

A statement said that the pair had wanted to "make a private commitment to each other".
The couple, who tied the knot at the Special Memory Wedding Chapel, are planning a bigger celebration for friends and family later this year.
Her publicist added the pair have been "good friends for many years".
She continued: "The couple, who are both 32, had wanted to keep the ceremony out of the public eye as they planned a more formal wedding for friends and family later in the year.
"Melanie and Stephen felt that they were at a good point in their lives and wanted to make a private commitment to each other. They have been good friends for many years."
This is the second marriage for the pop star, who wed dancer Jimmy Gulzar in 1998 at a lavish ceremony in Buckinghamshire.
The pair got engaged after a whirlwind 10-week romance but divorced after two years.
They have an eight-year-old daughter called Phoenix Chi.
The singer, who is also known as Scary Spice, is due to reunite with the British pop group, the Spice Girls in December on a world tour.
Belafonte's recent film credits include Sisters and Thank You for Smoking.
The 32-year-old has been contesting the paternity of her baby daughter with actor Eddie Murphy.
Brown, who dated the Hollywood star briefly, gave birth to Angel Iris in April and named Murphy as the father.
He initially denied fathering the child but issued a statement last week acknowledging paternity and saying he had paid child support.

Toronto beats Baghdad to 'win' extra Spice Girls show

LONDON: The Spice Girls won't be bringing girl power to Baghdad on their reunion tour.
Toronto, Canada, beat out the war-torn Iraqi capital in a contest where the girl band asked the public to vote on the Internet to choose any city for them to play an extra show, the band said in a statement Friday.
Several Web sites began campaigns encouraging people to vote to send the Spice Girls to Baghdad. As a result, Baghdad received thousands of votes and emerged as one of the strongest contenders, a source close to the band was quoted as telling Britain's Mirror newspaper.
However, the lakeside Canadian city won after fans used the social networking Web site Facebook to mobilize votes. A Spice Girls spokesman credited dozens of Facebook groups — the largest of which had more than 23,000 members — with helping the city win.
"We are delighted to be going to Toronto," the Spice Girls said in statement. "We have such incredible fans there and we are amazed at such a positive reaction. It's a great place and we can't wait to get back there."

The girls were prepared to go anywhere in world, "be it Baghdad or Antarctica," a spokesman was quoted as telling the Mirror.
The Spice Girls' publicists would not say Friday how many votes Toronto or Baghdad received.
The five-member band is set to begin its world tour on Dec. 2 in Vancouver, Canada. The tour will end Jan. 24 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Toronto show will be scheduled for sometime in January, the band said.
------------------------------------------------------
Erm really? I like to think the best of the girls but something tells me that none of them (including their insurance company) would be too keen for them to go to Baghdad right now. Of course that's just my personal opinion and I could be wrong. What do you think? And if it hadn't been Toronto where would you have wanted them to be?

Versace to dress Spice Girls

Donatella Versace is expected to dress the Spice Girls for their reunion tour later this year. The Italian designer is a big fan of the group and gave the singers ideas for their stage dresses when she heard about the comeback tour."Donatella was a big fan of the girls back in the day and as soon as she heard that a reunion was on the cards she submitted her ideas,” Female First quoted a source, as telling Daily Mirror."There will be several different looks for each of them and the clothes will be worth over 200,000 pounds," the source said. The designer is working to give the 30-something singers an individual look, which will be different from their previous personas."She wants the girls to retain their band personas but in a much less obvious way than before. Mel C won't be wearing ill-fitting sportswear instead she'll have a really sexy wardrobe. Emma will wear stunning, elegant dresses with a playful touch," the source said.
